The Aswan Forum for Sustainable Peace and Development is a full cycle, beginning with a preparatory process that feeds into the Forum, followed by the implementation of its conclusions.


The preparatory process includes workshops within the Forum's several relevant thematic areas. Building on the rich discussions that take place during the Forum, the Aswan Conclusions on Sustainable Peace and Development in Africa are released. The Forum is then followed by the implementation of the conclusions through capacity-building programs, training, and convening activities, in cooperation with partners, which contribute to building the resilience of African institutions as well as communities.
